PA: Breaking Away - Spinning Off & Standing Alone

  • April 19, 2012
  • 8:00 AM - 9:30 AM
  • The Radnor Hotel

Registration

MEMBERS ONLY.

THIS IS A MORNING EVENT.  Join other Trustees in skill-sharpening while you help a local non-profit CEO solve a tough business challenge.  This event promises to be highly interactive where everyone will pitch in as a mentor and problem solver. After a brief case study presentation by the CEO, roll up your sleeves and join your fellow Trustees to think through the issue and brainstorm possible solutions and next steps.  Exercise your skills in a way that will feel good - giving back to the community by helping a non-profit and an entrepreneur get to the next level.  You may even leave with a spark of inspiration and some valuable new connections after hearing how other Trustees solve these real problems.

PRESENTER:  Patrick Callihan, Executive Director, NPower Pennsylvania

BACKGROUND:
NPower is a charitable organization that provides technology services and support to other charitable organizations. NPower's mission is to ensure all nonprofits can use technology to better serve our community. Patrick Callihan was appointed executive director in October 2008.  NPower Pennsylvania (NPower PA) is an independently incorporated affiliate of the NPower Network and was founded in 2003 with funds from Microsoft Corporation and a matching grant from The William Penn Foundation. Since that time, NPower PA has attracted the independent support of over 100 foundations and corporations.
