Regardless of your company’s size, IT environment, or future plans, you will encounter potentially debilitating technology risks. Do you know what they are? Are you prepared to handle them? This program will cover risks such as: ERP vulnerabilities, cloud computing, virtualization, data privacy, security over personal devices, social networking/media, and voice over IP security. Each risk is critical to consider as your employees perform risk assessments and create IT audit plans. You will emerge from this session with the knowledge needed to discuss these risks with your IT leadership and determine if they are being effectively considered.

SPEAKERS:

ANDREW ELLSWEIG is a Senior Manager in the Technology Audit & Advisory Services Group at EisnerAmper.  He has more than 20 years experience in leading IT audit functions for major corporations.  Andy has an extensive background in integrated auditing; ERP systems controls; vendor audits; technology risk assessments; regulatory compliance assurance; system, network, and e-commerce security; privacy; SAS70s, PCI assessments; and IT governance.  He provides services to clients in a variety of industries including financial services, consumer electronics, pharmaceutical, telecommunications, manufacturing and entertainment. He has been a frequent speaker on a variety of topics at various organizations including the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA), the Information Systems Security Association (ISSA), the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) and the Financial Executives Institute (FEI).  Andy has a B.S. degree in Accounting from the University of Rhode Island with a minor in Management Information Systems

BILL MALIK is Director of Product Management for Weston Software, Inc. His career in IT spans 37 years and includes twelve years with IBM in MVS development and 15 years with Gartner as an analyst in the information security, middleware, and systems management areas. He was CTO of Waveset, and identity management start-up acquired by Sun in 2004, and began his career as an applications programmer at the John Hancock Insurance Co. He majored in Mathematics at MIT.
