CEOs today are expected to perform and to thrive in a global environment that moves and shifts at an increasingly fast pace. To be more adaptable and flexible in such an environment, we need to move beyond familiar or habitual ways of seeing the world and develop new ways of responding, listening, and innovating.

Come join fellow CEOs for this research-backed, leadership development program to gain useful new mental habits that will help improve your level of influence, enhance communication effectiveness, and increase organizational impact.  In short, this program can help you optimize your mind!

Developed and tested at Google, and based on the latest in neuroscience research, the Search Inside Yourself leadership program helps business leaders address some of their most difficult challenges. This is a highly interactive session where you will learn simple practices that can lead to self-mastery while also connecting with your peers in a meaningful way.

If you are a CEO or C-level executive and would like to see if you qualify to attend this event, register online here or contact Cathy Curley with your interest.

BIO:

Julie Murphy is the founder of Oakwood Leadership, a consultancy dedicated to helping people transform how they show up in business and life.  Julie has integrated her many years as a leader of strategy with mindfulness and emotional intelligence to help others make lasting shifts individually and organizationally.  She has had an eclectic and colorful journey, leading to the realization that the world of business can only benefit from whole-hearted and authentic leaders who are deeply committed to their own growth and that of their people.

Julie has a law degree and, in a past life, represented battered women in family court and divorce matters. In addition to practicing law, her experience includes IT consulting to Fortune 500 companies, heading up the strategy transformation for Girl Scouts of the USA, change management consulting, designing leadership programs, coaching corporate executives, and teaching mindfulness and emotional intelligence in business. Julie has extensive experience in leadership development, strategy, employee engagement, change management, organizational culture, executive coaching, and mindfulness.

In 2013, Julie was accepted into the highly competitive Search Inside Yourself Teacher Training program offered by the Search Inside Yourself Leadership Institute. This was the very first class of people from around the world chosen to teach the mindfulness based emotional intelligence program that was developed and tested at Google. Julie became certified to teach Search Inside Yourself in January of 2015

Julie has had a meditation practice for over 20 years, is a voracious learner, and is deeply committed to her personal growth and development. For eight years, she has participated in a peer coaching process called Radiant Reflection™ which involves self-reflection and the exploration of consciousness to become a better leader and person. Her personal work has led to her commitment to provide tools for transformation and empowerment to those who wish to show up differently in the world, especially within business.
