Join fellow CEO Trustees for a breakfast business discussion with Bob Madonna, CEO of Surrey Services. Bob will share an operational overview of what makes Surrey Services one of the most successful and sought-after senior-care providers in the Philadelphia area. He will explore the challenges of running a large organization, providing a highly personal service for a discerning clientele (and their families) with complex needs ranging from medical to entertainment. Bob will also comment on his transition experience from the for-profit to the not-for-profit world and the unique rewards and challenges involved. Included is an optional tour of Surrey Services new multi-million dollar facility on Philadelphia’s Main Line, a behind the scenes look at an impressive operation.

Robert Madonna, CEO, Surrey Services

Robert "Bob" Madonna is the President and CEO of Surrey Services for Seniors, (www.surreyservices.org). Bob was also a Principal and EVP of Sales and Marketing at McCoy Enterprises, a leading corporate employee training and consulting firm. Prior to his present position, Bob was EVP–Sales & Marketing of EchoBurst Corporation, a wireless Location Based Service provider. Prior to his startup work at EchoBurst, Bob was EVP-Sales & Marketing at Numerex Corporation of Atlanta, Georgia. From 1997 to 2001, Bob was responsible for the successful turnaround of four business units. These business units were Broadband Networks Inc, a video communications and networking provider, UPLINK Security, a provider of wireless security services, Digilog, a provider of Telco network test equipment and DCX Systems, a provider of wireline telemetry technologies.

Bob holds a B.S. in business from Widener University in PA. He currently serves on the Board of the Ryan's Case for Smiles Foundation and the Chair of the Delaware County Community College Foundation. He has served as a Board of Trustee with The Silver Springs-Martin Luther School, and an Advisory Board member of Educational Excellence and Entrepreneurship (3E Institute) at West Chester University. In addition, Bob was a founding director of the Golden Cradle Adoption.

He currently serves on the Board of the Ryan's Case for Smiles Foundation and the Chair of the Delaware County Community College Foundation. He is also an active member with the Greater Philadelphia Senior Executive Network Group (GPSEG), helping executives in transition.
