DFW: Predictive Index and the Science of Personality

Join us as we get to know fellow CEOs, access our own profiles, and learn about the Predictive Index. Based on proven behavioral science techniques, the PI pinpoints behavioral habits that make people understandable and predictable. It also enables managers to measure an individual’s drives and behaviors to determine how the person would perform in a specific job and interact with others.

Rich Sweeney, regional owner of PI, will also share “Decoding the Employee Engagement Challenge”. He will separate myth from reality when creating a culture of engaged employees. We will examine how engaged employees significantly impact an organization’s top and bottom lines. Trendy benefits such as ping-pong tables and free food do not move the job satisfaction needle that much and research shows those firms may still have mediocrity with a team just getting by. On the other hand, engaged employees are deeply and emotionally committed to the company and the organization’s goals. Focus on engaging at the individual level can improve profit and growth when behavior is understood through the lens of personality, behavior and The Predictive Index®.

SPEAKER BIO:
 Rich Sweeney: Founder and President of R.H. Sweeney Associates, is a business consultant, corporate level sales and management trainer, executive coach, lecturer and seminar leader. Innovative organizations continue to call on Rich Sweeney to help them develop their professional skills in people-management. After earning a degree from Northern Illinois University, Rich started his career with the 3M Corporation in sales and marketing and quickly climbed the management ladder with the Lanier Corporation. In 1990, he founded his consulting firm, resolving to share, with other professionals, his experience and success formulas for recognizing the specific genius lying within current employees and candidates.
