Meredith Walker
Meredith M. Walker is Principal and Global Economist at MMW Research, a business consultancy delivering international research, relationships and results. Meredith is a member of the National Association of Corporate Directors and National Association for Business Economics. Her research focuses on entrepreneurial, cross-sector solutions to global problems in security and sustainability.
Meredith serves as the America's Future Series President and Megellas Award Trustee, leading forums on cybersecurity, space, and defense innovation for business, military and government leaders. She is a member of Business Executives for National Security, the Frontiers of Flight Museum Board of Directors and Dallas Holocaust and Human Rights Museum Board of Directors Alumni.She is a Fellow at the SMU Hunt Institute for Engineering and Humanity, and Pearson Partners International advisory board member. Her philanthropic work supports military and veteran initiatives, honoring her great uncle's AVG Flying Tigers legacy and World War II service.
After launching her career as a Federal Reserve economist in Dallas and New York, Meredith worked with international organizations focused on peaceful problem solving. She served as a Global Economist and Councilor for the EastWest Institute, a U.S.-based NGO covering China, Turkey, and the Middle East. AS EarthX Chief Economist, she developed environmental initiatives for business, government, academia, and non-profits with the general public. As XPRIZE Foundation Global Economist and Head of Prize Advancement, she worked with visionary leaders to create innovation prize competitions, including the $100M XPRIZE Carbon Rem oval funded by Elon Musk.
